Job Description

Contractor will make changes to data (e.g. draw road geometry, create and modify address data, draw parcel geometry, etc.), interpret imagery and other resources (e.g. Street View, Satellite Imagery, web sites, etc.) and be aware of policies and procedures that are used to translate the real world entities to computer readable data.

2. Contractor will be familiar with GIS tools (arcgis, 3GIS, FMS), interpret comments and actions from various sources and troubleshoot based on instructions, training and context.

3. In addition, Contractor will exercise sound judgment when problem solving, evaluating data, or making edits, to continually check for discrepancies and to provide ongoing feedback on tools and processes.

4. When applicable, Contractor will handle complex geographic data situations and escalations, some of which are time sensitive, have a good grasp of how key use cases of backend data behavior on Google Fiber's systems, have the ability to learn market specific policy and user behavior and apply those in issue resolution. Contractor will conduct an in depth analysis on any failures and identify root cause, have the ability to work with multiple internal Google Fiber tools for troubleshooting.

5. Quality Control ("QC"): Contractor will deliver a high quality standard continually. Contractor will establish significant QC checks and mechanisms tailored for each project and workflow to ensure policy and workflow guidelines have been adhered to.

6. Ensure achievement of SLA targets, conduct daily and weekly meetings to share business updates and SLAs, work closely with Core Services team to improve team performance.

7. Work closely with subject matter experts on escalations, managing work queues and productivity of their teams.

8. Initiation and completion of a variety of ongoing and one-off projects related to the creation and management of geographic data

Required Skills & Experience

1. Make trainers or leads available for train-the-trainer ("TTT") training to be provided by Google Fiber;

2. Assist in maintaining training materials - During TTT sessions, Contractor will receive the following from Google Fiber: existing training templates, course materials and curriculum. Once TTT is completed, the Contractor will undertake responsibility for maintaining and updating training materials and course curriculums as provided by and in coordination with Google Fiber.

3. In addition, Google Fiber will provide Google Fiber-specific systems and products training to Contractor.

4. Google Fiber will first provide training to Contractor. Contractor will use the TTT model, and Contractor's training personnel will administer training.

5. Contractor will make corrective actions based on Google Fiber's assessment and feedback if the quality of training delivery does not match Google Fiber's standards.

6. Contractor shall provide ongoing training and relevant support in accordance with any new training modules developed by Google Fiber. Contractor will ensure that Google Fiber specific skills and knowledge required to effectively provide the Services.
