Transportation Broker

Day-to-day:
Insight Global is looking for an experienced Transportation/Freight Broker to join a third party logistics company in Anaheim. This position individual will act as an intermediary between shippers will the companies carriers. This individual will be given an existing book of business to assist customers with taking on needed truck loads for their products.

Day to day responsibilities will require rate negotiation, optimizing routing options/minimizing transit times, collaboration with sales teams to identify new opportunities and strong customer service skills. This position will be working hand in hand with the owner of the company on-site in Anaheim, CA.

Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience as a Transportation/Freight Broker
- Strong experience working within the Logistics/Transportation Industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Plusses:
Licensed Freight Broker in CA
