Insight Global's higher education client is looking for a Data Engineer to deliver enterprise data integration solutions across the full life cycle, including gathering requirements, data analysis, solution design, development of data pipelines, and comprehensive testing to ensure quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction and expertise related to data integration strategies.
Managing data ingestion and creating data sets.
Identify solutions to critical data management problems/issues.
Identify gaps in existing processes and direct improvements.
Using SQL for Data extraction and transformation.
Managing the data warehouse with Amazon RedShift.
Using AWS API Gateway to create and manage APIs.
Using AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
Pay range for this position is $60 - 65/hr

5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
3+ years of AWS: Redshift, Lambda, API Gateway.
3+ years of experience working with SQL.
Experience building ETL pipelines from scratch.
1+ years of experience working with Python. (Data Curation, AWS Lambda Functions).
Experience with APIGEE.
Familiarity with CloudFormation.
