Test Operator Engineer-AV

Insight Global is looking for a Test Operator Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles to join a Fortune 500 semiconductor company headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.

Pay Rate range: $60-$85

Day to day activities include:
-Develop on-track and on-road test scenarios and procedures to comprehensively assess Active Safety functions and L2 (and above) autonomous driving
-Independently bring up vehicle, perform in-car testing and record test results
-Provide reliable and consistent judgment of product quality from the perspective of end user based on evidence collected from tests
-Coordinate with operations team to arrange logistics for testing, including the setup and tear down of NCAP targets
-Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using an issue management system (JIRA)

-Experience in self-driving testing or ADAS testing
-In car testing exp
-Structured testing-setting up equipment
-Verification and validation test-test scenario set up background
-Creating test plans and run the test plans (first pass)
-Troubleshooting issues with the car-navigating the command line (bash or python)
-Open to travel for work (long drives)

-Look at logs and perform first level of triage
-Experience testing Safety features: Emergency breaking, blind spot monitoring, lane support systems, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign assist
-Bachelor's in Computer Science
