Insight Global is seeking a Financial Project Manager to join a large product development project currently underway as part of a comprehensive behavioral health modernization effort. This project is being led by one of the top technology consulting firms, and the project focuses primarily on engineering and project management services. This individual will be responsible for financial planning/forecasting and reconciliation of costs across multiple product and program workstreams, and will be tasked with leading the implementation and adoption of JIRA align across the different product groups. The ideal candidate will be a critical driver across the project, bringing extensive experience in both product and project management as well as expertise in the Atlassian toolset.
Additional responsibilities include
Develop and allocate budgets aligned with organizational goals and project requirements.
Utilize Tempo Timesheet in JIRA to monitor and record all project-related expenses accurately.
Generate detailed financial reports using data from Tempo to assess spending patterns and budget utilization.
Conduct regular cost analysis to identify financial discrepancies and areas where efficiency can be improved.
Predict future financial needs based on historical spending data and project timelines.
Communicate budget statuses and financial insights effectively with project stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations, and prepare for internal and external audits.
Maximize the functionalities of JIRA and Tempo Timesheet to enhance financial management and tracking.
Rate Target: $112,000 - $151,400 annualized

7+ years of experience in Project Management within a relevant industry/domain
Experience or familiarity with product management best practices.
Extensive financial planning and allocation experience within a project delivery context
Hands on experience with Atlassian tools, including expertise in JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, equivalent experience may be substituted on a year by year basis
Active Project management Professional (PMP) Certification
Hands on experience with Tempo for Project/Portfolio management with JIRA
Previous experience in client/customer delivery
