Job Description

Our client is looking to bring on an IT Trainer for a State of California project. One of our consulting partners has been working with a State agency for several years and is getting ready to release new IT features. The new features/deployments are within Salesforce/AWS Technologies. You will be responsible for training the trainers at the State department so they can train their end users on how it works. Alot of virtual training support (creating material, quizzes, documentations, screenshots, instructions, etc.) They may have to travel to Fresno or Sacramento for onsite training once a quarter.



Pay rate around $65-75/hr



* Hours/Duration

o Right now, 20-30 hours a week. Given the scope of training right now. It will increase in future releases.

o We likely need the position for the next 12 months -- but there will be some up and down times based on the overall product release schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experienced in creating technical training materials (e.g., screen shots, writing scenarios)

- Delivered virtual training (over zoom/Teams/Webex or such platform)

- Experienced in training trainers (Client staff are the one's training end-users, but we train Client's trainers)

- Has good command on English (Spoken and written)

- Can work in a fast paced environment (handle stress and work on multiple deliverables)

Has good understanding of computers and technology (picks up new technology easily)

- Good knowledge of training strategy to identify topics, need for job aids, develop training outline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Has experience in Amazon Connect

- Has experience in Salesforce environment

- Self starter and can manage stakeholder relationships

- Has experience working with JIRA (not necessary but ideal)
