Insight Global is hiring a Clinical Lab Technician for a Biotech company in Irvine, CA. The tech will operate as research associates, under the direction of the Research Scientists guidance to execute daily experiments, analyze data sets, write protocols/documents, and generate reports. This is a fast-paced environment within a dynamic team offering permanent employment on a 6 month contract to hire basis. Day to Day responsibilities will include:
Executes assay verification and validation with the team.
Participates in projects for Biomarker/IVD assay development in various disease areas.
Ensures quality in work, such as raw data records being accurate, complete, and in appropriate order, and meeting protocol and SOP specifications and GLP requirements.
Assists with the establishment of protocols and procedures.
Executes the evaluation and qualification of materials following established protocols and procedures.
Assists with identifying needs and sourcing of materials, samples, and other critical materials, as well as supplies.
Participates in daily lab operation duties
Executes other assignments by upper management as needed.

6+ months experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
Bachelors degree in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, or any science/engineering related field.
Experience handling human whole-blood, plasma and/or serum samples.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications
Experience writing, reviewing, and executing standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports
Minimum 1 year of direct industry experience in IVD immunodiagnostics fields, or other related diagnostic fields.
Experience with antibody/antigen selection and conjugation, protein purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, etc. is a plus.
Familiarity with immunoassays or automated instrument is a plus
