Job Description

The ideal candidate should have experience in writing effective, scalable code using Python programming language. You will be responsible for developing back-end components, integrating user-facing elements into applications, and testing and debugging programs. The individual will work closely with other software developers as well as data scientists, engineers and QA to deliver analytics capabilities to a web platform in an Agile workflow. You will also be required to coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

-Object oriented programming

-RDS (Oracle / MySQL/PostgresSQL) data queries

-Web services & HTTP methods (Django/FastAPI/Flask/etc)

-AWS

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Working with batch and streaming data processing methods

-Experience with messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis)

-Parallel processing (Celery)

-Design patterns, unit testing, deployment, support and maintenance

-Experience with Time Series data

-Experience working with Python Data Stack (Numpy, Pandas, etc)
