Job Description

A leading provider of networking hardware and systems is looking for a Hardware Lab Technician to join their Lab Support group. This technician will be supporting the design engineering group for product development. They will also be managing protype boards, systems, equipment and asset tracking. Day to day will be focused on network set up, debugging and signal measurements. This role requires proficiency with oscilloscopes for signal measurement and debugging. This person supports NPI product development team for enterprise routers.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in a Networking hardware background

- Extensive R&D experience working with oscilloscopes for signal measurement and debugging

- Ability to break down PCB boards to component level and conduct tests

- Experience debugging routers/other network hardware components

- Strong ability to troubleshoot network hardware (routers, modem)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Lab design and power planning

- Experience with Lab equipment calibration including budget and PO

- Proficiency with power and hand tools
