Job Description

Business Segment: Disney/Marvel Studios, Enabling Technologies



The Program Management and Enabling Technologies team is seeking a Product Manager who will leverage their strong background in Product Ownership, Stakeholder Management, Business Analysis, and Development to manage internal facing products related to data visualizations and analytics.



Responsibilities :

- Lead the product vision and strategy and translate it into actionable roadmaps, milestones, features and backlog of user stories for internal data visualization dashboarding/reporting tool.

- Partner with and clearly communicate to Engineering, Design, Business, and other teams to deliver engaging products and reports to customers and stakeholders.

- Develop and present a compelling business case for the product, highlighting its value proposition and potential ROI

- Write and communicate product requirements effectively to developers, designers, and stakeholders.

- Collect and analyze data to understand behavioral patterns of our users and use that insight to improve the product(s).

- Ensure that the data presented aligns with the intended business logic and objectives, verifying its accuracy and coherence to enhance the product's effectiveness and user experience.

- Bring a unique perspective to products and push our teams and stakeholders to push boundaries and innovate, balancing trade-offs and needs.

- Provide clear direction to the project manager and team regarding priorities for development

- Partner with QA/Testing lead to prioritize bugs and issues that need to be resolved; be involved in ongoing testing efforts to maintain product quality and user satisfaction.

- Translate strategy and product vision into project deliverables with launch targets.

The team currently has 400+ end users, supporting various parts of Studio Production, including finance, HR, VFX, Storage, etc. Environment has over 120+ visuals, 20+ data integrations(various file types/sources).

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 plus years of experience in a with Product Manager experience.

- Must have experience and be able to demonstrate owning a product roadmap, exec stakeholders to best understand their BI needs, what BI can enable/bring to the table with any potential new stakeholder

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge driving product development.

- Experience managing product requirements and release deliverables in JIRA, in an agile product development lifecycle.

- Experience working with large, cross-functional development teams.

- High level of comfort communicating with executives inside and outside of The Walt Disney Studios, including strategic partners.

- High energy and capable of multi-tasking and context-switching with ease, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving organization.

- Strong meeting facilitation skills and effective team player

- Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross

organizationally.

- Process-driven and extremely detail-oriented.

- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science or a related field.

- Local to Burbank - will work onsite at the Studio Lot, 2 to 3x week onsite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous experience working in a Studio/Film Feature or Streaming Production environment.

- Product Owner/Manager Certification is a plus
