An employer is looking for a Data Scientist to work for one of its largest technology entertainment clients in Los Angeles, CA. This individual will be responsible for working with engineering, analysts and data science team members to build data pipelines and analyze raw data inputs. The individual will be supporting the Small & Medium customer sales/ads group. The data will be focused around advertising, customer retention, use cases, web intakes and other ad spend metrics. A successful candidate will be very comfortable in SQL, Python, & Airflow and have no problem with creating queries to analyze existing data. Data Modelling and analysis of large data sets is a must.
20-30% working with skateholders on data team
70% on writing code, queries, understanding data
Pay Rate: $65-80/hr

. Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or Finance).
4-7+ years of experience in online media/marketing measurement, analytics, or statistics, preferably in a consumer / SMB business.
Experience in SQL, Python, Airflow and packages such as SAS, R, or Stata, along with working knowledge of tools such as Looker, Tableau, Qlik, Google Sheets or similar such tools.
Exposure to GCP, AWS & other cloud platforms able to architect solutions using these tools.
