The IT Support Specialist is to provide expert-level support to client end user environments. This is an onsite support role, no work from home. As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. You must have 2+ years demonstrable skills & experience as a Level 1-2 service desk technician in a corporate environment.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering exceptional customer service. You will perform the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements. Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers. May assist Network Administrator or other IT team members. New user desk setup/take down -- monitors, docking station, cable wiring...etc. Computer equipment maintenance -- Hardware/software update and clean up. Mobile phone distribution and support with mobile device management software.Hardware shipment receiving and distribution -- Keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, docking station...etc. Hardware troubleshooting -- Keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, docking station...etc. Hardware inventory management. Network troubleshooting -- network ports, ethernet cables. Software troubleshooting. Manage work queue in company ticketing system. On-call support for afterhours and weekends. White glove service for executive team. Additional tasks as assigned by the IT .
Pay Range-: $20-$29/hr
