Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the team with one of our financial clients located in San Francisco, California. You will be joining a team of 4 other individuals who support the 200 users onsite in this location, as well as a few other locations remotely. It will be a combination of both deskside and over the phone support for executives, managers, support staff, and anyone across the firm who needs assistance. You will be handling level 2 troubleshooting, both hardware and software support. We are looking for someone with both great technical knowledge and premier customer service skills. This role will be onsite 5 days/week. The training period will be 7am-4pm, and then once you are up to speed, it will switch to 8am-5pm. There will also be occasional on-call support after hours and on weekends once you are fully trained.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years' experience as a Desktop Support Technician
-Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
-White glove deskside support
-Experience with a ticketing system
-Experience with a Windows environment

-Financial industry background
