A large government Integrator in the Albuquerque NM area is looking to hire an individual to their defensive cyber operations team. This program employs a 24/7 Defensive Cyberspace Operations Center to support various activities for their government customer. This person will perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Typical tasks include performing monitoring operations, reporting cyber security events and anomalies and providing analysis and recommendations to the team. The individual will gain valuable skills performing Vulnerability Management (VM) and Malware Protection / Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis (VAA) / Intrusion Analysis and Correlation Information, incident handling, mission operations transfer, and assessment support. In order to succeed in this role, this person will need to have prior experience working in a CSSP environment with one of the following tools; LogRhythm, Suricata, Kibana, ELK, Bro, Snort, HBSS, Wireshark, and Solar Winds. We are looking for passionate individuals that are willing to get to work to support the mission! This is a normal 9-5 working position. The pay range is determined on a range of factors. Typical compensation is expected between $120,000 and $160,000
