A client is looking to hire a Lead Digital Strategist in San Diego County who can come on site to Kearny Mesa 1-2X a week. We are seeking someone who can act as a true consultant to the business by conducting competitive analysis and making recommendations on developing and improving the existing digital strategy. This includes analyzing industry trends, helping develop user personas, conducting user testing, developing KPI's, defining and measuring UX success for the company. You would work closely with UX Designers to give recommendations on wireframes and prototypes, guide A/B testing, and how to understand user behavior and target audience. You would also attend and observe key stakeholder meetings, attend whiteboard sessions and hands on workshops, and help give a fresh perspective and a newly developed digital strategy to the organization. It is a plus if someone comes from a consulting or digital agency background.

-5+ years of experience in Content Strategy / Digital Strategy, ideally with a background in consulting or coming from a digital agency
-Ability to own Digital / UX Strategy and make recommendations based on competitive analysis, industry trends, user experience, testing, etc.
-Deep understanding of analytics, developing KPIs, and ability to make recommendations on how to measure UX success
-Experience developing user personas, creating workflows, working with UX teams on user journeys, and leading user testing
-Proven experience in mobile content strategy across various industries
-Experience working with agile development and UI/UX design teams and attending / observing key stakeholder meetings
-Experience with technical communications, software products, platforms and applications
-Turbo Machinery background
