Insight Global is looking for a Senior Backend Developer for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This person is joining the team that is responsible for the internal Content Management System as well as the SEO endeavors across the company. This CMS platform consists of editorial content for the different orgs within (Sports, TV, News, etc). We are looking for someone to predominantly focus on backend development for the publishing workflows, APIs etc. This person will also be responsible for building and maintaining custom microservices to power key integrations with the Content Management System and consumer facing applications. This is a 6 month contract with likely extensions.

Experience with Typescript (client is using this on both backend and frontend)
Experience with Node.JS
AWS - Lambda, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, SNS, SQS, S3
Experience working in an enterprise, Agile environment and contributing to large team.
Comfortable participating in key practices; working and engaging with team for code review etc
Comfortable being involved with system design. Working through features and development, how to implement a new feature
Experience with object-oriented programming. Should be able to navigate complex workflows where there is a lot of abstraction.
Experience with unit testing, with a focus on Test Driven Development
