The Human Resources Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring effective human resources management within our organization. This position requires a solid understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze information and make informed recommendations. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and supporting our staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Knowledge and Skills
Basic HR Principles and Procedures: Understand and apply fundamental human resources principles and procedures.
Personnel and Payroll Records: Maintain accurate records related to personnel and payroll.
Arithmetic Skills: Perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages, fractions).
Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and confidently in group settings and one-on-one interactions.

Policy Understanding: Read, comprehend, and explain HR policies, procedures, and rules.
Presentation Skills: Deliver effective presentations to groups.
Organizational Skills: Efficiently plan and organize work tasks.
Interviewing Techniques: Learn and apply effective interviewing techniques.
Judgment: Exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, external agencies, and the public.
Report Writing: Research and write reports and correspondence in a grammatically acceptable and logical manner.
Critical Thinking: Analyze and evaluate statements and information.
Logical Conclusions: Draw logical conclusions and provide recommendations.
Technical Skills: Acquire higher-level technical skills relevant to HR management.
