Job Description

Insight Global is in search of a Training and Development Coordinator to support a public sector client of ours. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from hands-on tasks like room setup for training sessions to more strategic coordination and content editing. The ideal candidate is a team player, eager to learn, and comfortable with public speaking. While skills are important, we value personality traits such as drive, grit, and approachability.
Responsibilities:
2. Facilitation and Support:
o Set up training rooms with the necessary materials, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
o Attend training sessions, take detailed notes, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
o Assist with post-training cleanup and organization.
3. Coordination:
o Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking rooms, arranging equipment, and communicating with vendors.
o Collaborate with trainers and participants to ensure smooth operations during training events.
4. Content Editing and Creation:
o Edit training videos and materials to enhance clarity and effectiveness.
o Develop quizzes and exams that align with learning objectives.
o Work on document editing and formatting, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
5. Public Speaking:
o Comfortably present information during training sessions or team meetings.
o Engage participants and address questions or concerns.
6. Adaptability and Teamwork:
o Be willing to assist with various tasks, from carrying boxes to editing presentation decks.
o Embrace a flexible work environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.
7. Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

o Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant tools (e.g., Camtasia, Captivate, Canva, Adobe products).
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for learning and development.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Bachelors degree (preferred but not mandatory).
