Job Description

The Resolute Professional Billing Analyst. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing the organization's workflows and ensuring effective use of the Epic system.



Responsibilities:

o Supports planning, design, development, build, and configuration of third-party applications and Epic's Resolute Professional Billing applications.

o Has a solid understanding of revenue cycle operations, including ambulatory clinic-based physician billing, RVU reporting, Fee Schedule maintenance, Cash Management, Reporting Workbench, Radar reports, and General Ledger maintenance.

o Acts as the primary support contact for end-users of the application.

o Identifies and resolves issues within their application area and collaborates with other application teams.

o Guides workflow design, system building, testing, and addresses technical issues related to Epic software.

o Implements requested system changes.

o Serves as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff.

o Communicates application changes, enhancements, and procedures to relevant department teams.

o Maintains regular communication with Epic representatives and participates in project team meetings.

o Ensures the system aligns with the organization's business needs and project deliverables.

o Develops an understanding of clinical and operational needs by attending site visits and workflow sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

o Bachelor's degree required or four years of experience in health care, electronic healthcare record system design, or information technology.

o Required: Current Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification.

o Minimum of two (2) years of experience in: Electronic health record systems analysis, design, build, and support, Epic application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support, Medical billing, claims, or other related areas of the revenue cycle, California with complicated payor requirements, Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory billing requirements by CMS, Medicaid, and other payors.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Preferred: Certification in Epic Resolute Single Billing Office.

-Experience working with applications or modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Professional Billing (non-SBO), HIM-ROI, Security, Bones, Surescripts, SmartForms, Order Transmittal, Referrals, Reporting Workbench, Cadence, Haiku/Canto, CareEverywhere, Urgent Care, and/or MyChart.
