Job Description

A Medical Device Packaging in the Anaheim CA area is looking for an HR Business Partner. This person will be responsible for supporting the site's employee and benefits program which includes: educating employees on educating and assisting employees on benefit programs, ensuring timely and accurate enrollment with compliance to HIPAA, championing welfare programs, supporting unemployment claims in the occasion of temporary layoffs or shut downs, and supporting operations in the event of work related injuries. This person must be knowledgeable of California State labor laws to ensure that company policies and regulations are properly aligned. They will also be responsible for coaching leaders in the company on matters such as discrimination, harassment, FMLA and ADA as well as conducting investigations to determine validity of discrimination and harassment claims. Additionally, this person will be involved in orientation, training and development. This includes educating managers on employment laws, leading classroom learning on effective communication and management skills, and ensuring adequate training and orientation is provided for new hires.

Required Skills & Experience

* Experience within a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field

* At least 3 years of Human Resources experience within California

* Strong conflict resolution skills

* Fluent in English and Spanish

* Ability to interpret legal terminology and strong understanding of California labor laws
