Job Description

Job Summary

The shipping and receiving clerk will prepare and pack orders accurately, complete international and

domestic paperwork, plan logistics and coordinate shipments. They will receive incoming shipments

and document and inventory items appropriately

Required Skills & Experience

Key Accountabilities

§ Fulfill customer orders by transferring products to designated shipping carrier.

§ Coordinate movement of equipment in support of sales demonstrations and trade shows.

§ Inspection & stock incoming manufacturing inventory.



Typical Activities

§ Preparing shipments including gathering components, boxing, and packing.

§ Generating packing lists and locating required items.

§ Preparing customs documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, B13A

Canada Export filings, FCC, and FDA forms.

§ Creating shipping waybills and scheduling pickups.

§ Coordinating with carriers and providing information to customs.

§ Planning logistics with various parties, obtaining rate quotes, and determining best methods of

shipping on a per-order basis.

§ Reviewing international import requirements to maintain compliance.

§ Logging all documentation corresponding to a shipment, tracking shipments.

§ Receiving shipments, inspecting for damage and order accuracy, documenting contents, moving

inventory to designated locations.



Requirements

§ Logistics experience.

§ Solid background with customs, importing and exporting procedures.

§ Attention to detail.

§ Moving boxes up to 50lbs.
