A higher education client of ours is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join their team for a 6 month contract. This role has the potential to extend and convert to a permanent employee. This role will be 100% remote and will require to work pacific standard time. This team is responsible for the customer relationship and experience of Workday Finance with its users throughout the University (this is facility, staff, and anyone that uses this financial system). This team helps to facilitate the communication, learning, and training. As a Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for helping to create quick reference guides for the website, training videos, running open lab forums, prepping training slide decks, and creating different training materials and step by step how-to guides. Most of these trainings have templates that have already been created, however there will be times where a training guide will need to be created from scratch. Most of this work will consist of revamping and modernizing existing trainings and user guides.

2+ years of experience within Learning and Development
Experience with Workday Financial Management
Experience creating robust learning and development strategies, implementing centralized learning content and delivery strategies and systems, and managing self-help and instructor-led training
Experience creating learning and development programs and curricula for large, complex organizations.
Experience facilitating training sessions in-person or virtually.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as organizational development, communications, business administration, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
