Job Description

As a Senior Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing a complex database environment, primarily consisting of MySQL and Oracle, within an AWS cloud infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the databases. This will include utilizing your strong experience in performance tuning, particularly focusing on Oracle & MySQL Tuning and expected to identify and resolve application performance problems for both Oracle and MySQL databases. Additionally, occasional data migrations, such as transitioning from on-premises to the cloud, may be required. Providing 24/7 on pager support and adhering to typical IST hours will be essential.

Required Skills & Experience

* 7+ years of experience as a Database engineer focused on Oracle, MySQL and Postgres

* Expertise in relational database engines, primarily in Oracle and MySQL and Postgres ( Must have all 3)

ability to preform tuning and performance fixes in all 3 spaces

AWS Cloud experience-Hands on experience managing RDS Aurora instances and performance tuning with AWS Cloud

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with database migration in AWS
