A higher education client of ours is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to join the applications services team for a 6 month contract (with possible extensions). This role will be fully remote, and will require working pacific standard time. This individual will be responsible for an initiative around the automation of an event permit workflow within Salesforce. Currently, if a student group wants to have an event on campus, they need to go through layers of an approval process. The goal is to now centralize this process into Salesforce. Phase 1 is complete and this Business Analyst will be tasked with helping out with phase 2 and phase 3. These phases consist of bringing on more users, more requirements to gather, and more enhancements that need to be made to the platform itself. It will then be this Business Analysts responsibility to do the tracking, documentation and facilitation of testing that goes into that. Requirements will be gathered from various members of the events team (12 different departments) and this person will work closely with the subject matter experts of each events department to understand their processes and help to translate those processes into Salesforce verbiage. This team currently consists of 5; a Product Owner, an admin, 2 developers and 1 other BA.
