Insight Global is in search of a Risk Analyst to work in Sacramento. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating risks across various aspects of our organization. Youll collaborate with team members, analyze data, and contribute to risk management strategies. Key Responsibilities
1. Risk Assessment and Reporting:
o Evaluate potential risks associated with business decisions.
o Utilize analytical tools and software to calculate risk levels.
o Prepare reports outlining risk scenarios and potential losses.
o Make recommendations to reduce risk, including diversification, portfolio investment, and currency exchanges.
2. Collaboration and Data Analysis:
o Consult with business decision-makers to understand their data needs.
o Evaluate business and financial records to determine risk levels.
o Work closely with team members to communicate risk assessments and suggest risk reduction strategies.
3. Claims Oversight and Process Improvement:
o Provide basic oversight of claims related to workers compensation, property, and liability.
o Review contracts to assess indemnification insurance and ensure compliance.
o Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to customize contract language.
o Conduct claim reviews and identify areas for loss prevention.
4. Construction and Property Expertise:
o Understand policies related to builders risk and construction.
o Familiarity with construction dynamics and property management.
o Knowledge of construction defect claims.
5. Licensing and Process Design:
o Possess relevant licenses (e.g., Workers Comp).
o Familiarity with self-insurance and reinsurance processes.
o Contribute to process design and risk management strategies.
