Job Description

The HR coordinator conducts specialized administrative duties to support the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative duties. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Chula Vista.

Job responsibilities include:
Assist department in conducting a variety of human resources programs and processes.
Perform routine filing, scanning, and archiving of records to ensure record retention compliance.
Assist with recruiting and the onboarding process.
Prepare and conduct new employee orientation.
Coordinate various new hire processes such as E-Verify, I-9 compliance, assigning and tracking required training and issuance of equipment based on client requirements.
Maintain Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports.
Provide backup to HR team in their absence.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of administrative experience
Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Must be a sole US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

Experience with Workday is preferred
