Job Description

An employer is seeking a Medical Physicist located in Monterey, CA with some remote work flexibility. You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and regulatory compliance of radiation protocols, providing technical support and troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate documentation related to radiation therapy. You will work closely with their team of physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for their clients.

Required Skills & Experience

-ABR (American Board of Radiology) Certified

-Strong background in Medical Physics, Physics, and Dosimetry

-Experience in developing and implementing radiation treatment plans using various TPS

-Knowledge of Radiation Safety regulations and protocols

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Experience with treatment planning software, such as Eclipse or RayStation

-Board certification in Medical Physics or eligible for board certification

-Ph.D. or M.S. in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field
