The Information Technology Department manages user accounts and what systems and data those accounts have access to. This position supports this Access Management program which includes the onboarding, offboarding, and updating of digital identities for all County departments and external partners that need access to County systems and ensures that the right people have access to the right data at the right time.
In 2023, over 2000 access requests were facilitated by the two individuals in ITD assigned to Access Management. This person will help prevent significant delays in providing access to employees, in revoking access to separated employees, and in updating access to ensure staff only have access to what is necessary for their jobs.
