Job Description

As part of the team, you'll be joining a group of seasoned, dedicated technologists supporting these world class productions, developing the next generation of production technology, as well as solving a range of interesting problems in innovative ways in an exciting and dynamic environment.



We're looking for a project manager to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a variety of projects and initiatives.



You'll be supporting the day to day operational aspects of supporting feature production and asset management projects across all banners and will play the critical role of implementing key initiatives for production groups within the Technology team.



Responsibilities:

- Lead operational and growth initiatives from end-to-end, including gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule and resourcing for the technology team

- Support technology needs for live productions

- Serve as project manager and resource manager for union trade teams led projects and tasks

- Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders

- Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

- Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates

- Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics via MS Power BI

- Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas, and implement projects or processes to streamline and improve operation.

- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Required Skills & Experience

- Senior level Project Manager, minimum 7+ years experience

- Strong PPM Tool Set, specifically: Smart Sheets,

- Ability to work in a team environment, ideally working within a PMO and past experience having managed multiple projects simultaneously

- Very data/task driven; must of how the projects/teams are managed is via SS, where the resource task/hours are tracked; lots of data wrangling to uphold the correct project status

- Must be able to interface with the executives, and 3rd party union/trades(much of how they assign work is through the union and will be responsible for ensuring the work is being tasked and completed accordingly

- Must have experience working in conjunction with other project/program managers.

- Must have managed projects in the areas of : venue/facility buildouts(technology) construction builds, Event setup(tech based), Audio/Visual project management.

- Location: Important to have candidates that reside in the greater Los Angeles to physically go onsite 3 to 4 days per week at the Studio Lot in Burbank.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Direct experience leveraging data/business intelligence reports to leverage/make informed decisions. (PowerBI reporting tool is nice to have)
