1. Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar (Apigee preferred but AWS API gateway is also fine)
- 2. Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral.
- 3. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS.

- *Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.

Typical task breakdown:
- Work within API Management team, hands-on APIGEE Edge , OAS Spec review, Proxy development . Hybrid work , need to be at located at commutable distance from Chicago.
DTD: they will develop proxies for other teams to maintain standards. Incident management using servicenow. Must know API standards - how they are built how they are documented - exp with swagger tool to do so. Top 3 skills restful API standards, swagger editor, and apigee edge or API gateway exp.
