A large organization is looking for a Python Developer with expertise in developing and integrating custom applications. This person will be working at an applications programmer/applications integrator for an exciting new project as part of our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
They will work closely with teaching faculty, researchers, and information technology professionals to design and develop custom applications to enhance teaching and learning. Projects will focus on building integrations with third-party APIs and services to build a seamless experience for students, particularly for Canvas
-Scope of work includes general and discipline-specific learning management systems
-design and implementation of user interfaces
-development and integration of APIs and web services
-and integration of cloud services with a variety of local systems and databases
-Experience using or supporting Canvas, Blackboard or other LMS
- Python development
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API frameworks.
