REMOTE Data Scientist

Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist for our client. As a data scientist working on their core experience, you will uncover insights on how users consume content and engage across our main surfaces, and partner with product and engineering teams to find opportunities to improve the user experience.

Main job duties include:

* Creating reporting dashboards for product and engineering partners to understand topline metrics movements and deep dive into specific areas of interest

* Analyzing experiment results and identifying plausible hypotheses to explain user behavior changes

* Creating data assets (new tables, self-serve dashboards, etc.) to enable partners to answer their own data questions

* Uncovering strategic insights and sharing them with stakeholders to shape future product directions

-SQL (2+ years)

-Python experience

-Data story telling experience - having intuition

-Dashboarding tools experience such as mode or tableau - executive or business facing dashboards

-GIT experience (software tool to check code)

-Experience talking to various levels of stakeholders and great communication

-Airflow experience

-Consumer product experience (company with an app)

-Basic experiment analysis
