Insight Global is seeking an X-Ray Panel Technician to sit onsite in Santa Clara, California with one of it's medical technology clients supporting a new product launch. This position performs work in the category of material handling, product module assembly, keeping quality records and other forms of data collection, program burning and pre-testing, production line equipment maintenance and calibration, and work order management. The technician is expected to follow procedures to ensure the production record is accurate and perform nonconforming material control to be in compliance with medical device regulations.
In line with these duties, this position is also expected to assist in performing physical repairs of used detectors in coordination with technical support staff. The technician is expected to follow procedures to ensure the repair records are accurate and repairs are in compliance with production quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
* Production assembly: handle material for production, conduct medical device product assembly. Record production data and information records for medical device, and preserve the record according to procedure
* Production line 5S and assembly tools calibration according to work instructions
* Nonconforming materials identification, recording, isolation and handling
* Repair work: handle used material to identify failure points and remedy issues. Record repair data and information records for medical devices
* Product shipping inspection of labels, cosmetic appearance, test of spare parts and accessories
* Material stock location identification, material stock in and stock out, work order material physical count, and work order information reporting to finance accountant
* Associate or bachelor's degree in Electrical, IT, or equivalent.
* Microelectronics industrial or semiconductor assembly experience
* Real production experience
* A proactive work style, able to adapt quickly with a flexible mindset
* Familiarity with assembly and handling of electronics and computing components
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to learn basic radiographic and photography-related principles
* Strong communication skills
* Awareness of practices in quality control and medical device records during production
