Data Analyst (POWER BI / SQL / DAX)

Insight Global's education client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Research Administration team. This resource would be responsible for developing reports and information products using their established data analytics platform. This resource will be responsible for curating and analyzing both transactional system data and data warehouse data using data visualization, data science, and research and development principles to facilitate data integration and report development. Lastly, this person would be responsible for verifying and retro fitting reports and systems that look into and pull data from the main campus financial system.

- 4+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst

- 2+ years of experience working with Power BI for data visualization.

- 3+ years of experience using SQL on daily basis.

Ability to make queries from scratch.

- Strong experience working with SQL server or other relational databases.

- Experience working with DAX

- Experience working with Json for APIs and unstructured data sets

Experience translating Json to SQL

- Experience using AI/ML in data reporting and analytics.

Experience with Synapse

- Experience working in an Azure serverless cloud environment

Experience with Power BI Embedded

- Experience scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or python for automation.

Experience with PowerQuery
