A customer of Insight Global is seeking A/V Technicians and Cable Technicians for a 1.5 month long project in San Diego. The A/V Technician is responsible for preparing audiovisual equipment and cable at a music hall in the San Diego Area. Key responsibilities include equipment testing, client communication, inventory management, and staying updated on industry advancements. A large aspect of this role will include terminating various types of cable at a desk in the sitting position. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 years of experience in audiovisual integration, knowledge of sound systems and video equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot. This person will work a standard 8-5pm shift, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime if requested. A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
1+ years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or upgrading AV Equipment or cables
Experience terminating various types of cable
Prior experience installing AV equipment at a commercial structure or music hall
