Job Description

The Account Manager for Walmart maintains relationships with all members of the Walmart buying teams that WCN supplies and is the face of WCN in Bentonville AR. The focus of this role is to ensure all sales agreements between Walmart and WCN are delivered upon by managing all processes required by both parties to deliver goods, and then driving sales by producing and utilizing data. This is accomplished by consistent and accurate data maintenance, meeting deadlines for the various steps of the order process and reporting actionable selling data that can be used to identify future opportunities. The Walmart account manager must communicate regularly with all involved in the supply chain to ensure items are set up correctly, receivable and sellable at Walmart. This process requires organization, planning, and great attention to detail so that no steps are missed in the process. To succeed, this position must collaborate and execute job functions with the following individuals and teams.



Responsibilities:

* Walmart Buyers & Buying Teams

Manage a Planned Ship/Ladder Plan report to ensure Walmart commitment to receipts.

Assist in presentation/sale of items that must have WM approval to be shipped to stores.

Present and at times deliver product samples of items to buyer.

Manage item data, including item creation, order processing, price updates.

Consistent follow up on action items requested by the buyer.

Create weekly sales reports based on seasonal programs.

Replenishment, identifying opportunities and submission of orders to Walmart for approval.

Assist with all things Walmart, including product testing, factory info, recalls, etc.



* WCN

Sales (working with WCN SVP of Sales)

• Start to finish sales collaboration using data insights to produce sales.

• Ad hoc reports and report assistance on demand.

• Identify opportunities for replenishment and other selling.

• Assist with and provide info for internal and external sales meetings.

Customer Service and Operations and assistance with orders, routing and shipping questions, store issues, inventory, item creation, and any other needs.

Field Sales support and providing ad hoc selling info to support field selling and replenishment opportunities.



· Grocery, Drug, Convenience (GDC) account data - Weekly reports based on item seasonality.

Market 6 portal and POS and ship information for all Kroger divisions.

• POS/Sell through reporting based on season.

• Follow up on shipments/claims.

Other retailers based on requests and data availability.

Ad hoc Business and Sales support for all selling and data needs for WCN employees, independent sales reps, and any requests from sister companies.

Required Skills & Experience

* Experience supporting Walmart in a sales/account management capacity.

* Proficiency with Retail Link (ability to navigate NOVA and Item 360)

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* High attention to detail and data accuracy.

* Advanced technical and Excel skills.
