Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support a critical modernization effort led by a large government entity. This individual will provide industry subject matter expertise and have specific knowledge of methods including governance, enterprise architecture strategy, development and management, business process design and re-engineering, and support the attainment of business strategy and its alignment with processes and information technology strategy. This individual will be responsible for working organization wide bringing together different programs and solutions in order to build a cohesive product roadmap and strategy. The ideal candidate will come from a large organization supporting complex enterprise environments.
Additional responsibilities include:
Focus on reviewing existing product roadmaps and connect those roadmaps to the new, large initiative this customer is undertaking.
Develop key technology deliverables including the modernization strategic roadmaps
Identify and plan new enterprise and shared services as part of the broader initiative
Solution multiple product streams to align strategy and technical architecture
Research and gather data about existing systems and platforms
Work closely with high-level stakeholders within the government to lead strategic direction
7+ years working as a technical Enterprise Architect in a large organization (Fortune 500 or equivalent) applying industry standard technology architecture principles.
7+ years of experience creating the major components of an enterprise architecture plan. Including building as-is and to-be architectures, product roadmaps, writing/developing deliverables, and identifying key objectives and strategies.
7+ years of experience working with key business executives and leaders to develop the strategic product roadmaps and architectural strategy and then disseminating/presenting that information to Product and Engineering teams. Building these relationships will be key.
Strong experience working with Jira and Confluence.
Strong experience working in an Agile Scrum and/or Agile SAFe environment.
Very strong communication (written and verbal) and very comfortable talking with and presenting to business executives.
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering or related field. If their degree is not in this field, then they must have 4 additional years of experience for the above requirements.
Able to travel to Sacramento frequently (~4 business days per month)
Local to Sacramento or the Bay Area
