Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in managing our warehouse operations in Van Nuys. As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee a team of warehouse staff and ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of our Inventory. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing workflow, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
-Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel at our Van Nuys location, including training and performance management.
-Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of rental equipment, ensuring accuracy, proper handling, and compliance with established procedures.
-Coordinate with other departments, such as customer service and maintenance, to fulfill rental orders and ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.
-Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
-Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness standards.
-Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency at our Van Nuys location.
-Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or monitor performance metrics and generate reports.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and identify training needs to enhance the skills and performance of warehouse personnel.
-Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety policies, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring proper handling and storage of equipment.
Required Skills & Experience
-Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
-Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS)
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
-Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
-Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

-BA or BS equivalent preferred
