The Data Scientist, Health Informatics is responsible for the management, analysis, security, compliance, integration and aggregation of patient information, clinical measures, registries, and determinants used by the County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services. The Data Scientist, Health Informatics works with clinical systems, population management platforms, and clinical decision-making tools to identify the impact of systems and policies affecting health care quality, access, and outcomes, including theoretical and evidence-based analysis of change sensitivity, ultimately improving population health through data science.
