Job Description

* Work closely with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production Test Labs to ensure a testable product is being developed and influence design to increase product reliability and test coverage.
* Make recommendations for design, process improvements, and data collection.
* Understanding of electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing to analyse and improve test coverage.
* Root-cause analysis of test failures and communicating recommended actions.
* Perform environmental testing of flight hardware including:
* Thermal Cycling
* Thermal Vacuum
* Humidity
* Random Vibration
* Shock
* EMI/EMC

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
* 3+ years' related experience
* Responsible for development and execution of automated testing solutions for avionics hardware throughout all stages of development including: Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), Unit Acceptance/Qualification Testing, and System Level Testing
* Generate test plans, procedures, and automated reports
* Develop automated test software suite utilizing LabVIEW and Python capable of validating full flight hardware functionally
* Design and integrate test hardware in modular and scalable architecture capable making required measurements
* Design sensor simulators capable of supporting closed loop testing at system level
* Develop data analysis tools capable of identifying unit to unit performance variability
* Generate all documentation required to manufacture and operate test equipment including mechanical drawings, interconnect diagrams, and harnesses
