Job Description

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Accounting & Audit: Plan, coordinate, and execute audits to evaluate financial controls, compliance with policies, and operational efficiency.

Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial forecasting to identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks.

Process Improvement: Continuously review financial processes and internal controls to identify areas for enhancement. Propose and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights to department heads on budget performance and spending patterns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to understand their financial needs, provide analytical support, and offer insights for informed decision-making.

Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special financial projects, as required, to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Required Skills & Experience

* A minimum of 2-5 years' experience Finance or a combination of Finance, Accounting and Analytics.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

* Prior experience in budget vs actual analysis, profit and loss analysis.

* Ability to meet end of month, end of quarters financial deadlines.

* Proven experience in financial analysis and auditing, preferably within a corporate finance or audit firm environment.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Ability to prioritize, manage and resolve unique and challenging projects.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions effectively.

* Intermediate experience with VBA/Macros a plus

* Proficient in using financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.

* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is strongly preferred.
