Job Description
Insight Global is looking for multiple Desktop Support Technicians to support one of the largest hospitals in Northern California. This healthcare client is performing 22,000+ refreshes this year and the Desktop Support Technicians are expected to travel to facility sites to perform PC/laptop and hardware refreshes. They assist with data migrations and scheduling devices for those upgrades. They will work with department manager and charge nurse to get access to computer to take the old PC out, migrate the data, install software, manage cable, record that the device is updated, return the assets, and dispose of them.
Additional responsibilities:
Assisting with providing problem resolution analysis specifications and configurations coordination testing and installation of computer/mobile device-based software peripherals local area networks (LAN) and other peripheral equipment.
May assist with informal training of computer/mobile device users.
Assists in the maintenance of asset control and adherence to departmental / system policy directives and maintains the highest level of data security.
Providing first level problem resolution for enterprise/system-wide computer/mobile device hardware, operating system software, application programs, peripheral equipment, and LAN interfaces.
Assists with providing problem resolution, analysis, specifications and configurations, coordination, testing, and installation of computer/mobile device-based software, peripherals, local area networks (LAN) and other peripheral equipment.
May assist with informal training of computer/mobile device users. Assists in the maintenance of asset control and adherence to departmental/system policy directives and maintains the highest level of data security.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience troubleshooting computers and mobile devices
Demonstrates passion for & expressed interest in IT related fields
Active valid Driver's License and comfortable driving personal vehicle to job sites
Has flexible working hours and can pass/obtain health screenings, drug screenings, & background requirements
