Job Description
Insight Global's client is looking for Data Center Technicians that will be responsible for mechanical, electrical, and fire safety responsibilities.
* Mechanical responsibilities will include operation, maintenance and repair of chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units, CRAC/CRAH units, and humidification systems.
* Electrical responsibilities will include operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load.
* Fire Life Safety responsibilities will include operation, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems, including wet sprinkler systems and pre-action sprinkler systems as well as their associated detection devices.
Required Skills & Experience
* 2+ years' experience in mechanical or electrical position within critical facilities preferred
o Data Center, Hospital, Semi-conductor, or power plant
* HVAC, Cooling Tower, Chilled Water Systems, Fuel/Oil System background
* NON-IT data center experience (no cat5/6, rack & stack exp, etc.)

* Data Center or Critical Facility experience
