Project Manager - Diablo Canyon

In this role we are looking for Project Managers to help support with refueling and outage support in preparation for recommissioning a nuclear plant. In this role you will be responsible for managing multiple projects to ensure all assets are compliant with applicable site procedures. You will be overseeing construction standards, work orders, creating purchase order request for contract development, and making sure budget is met / aligned on project deliverables. You will be also coordinating with other departments on updates involving operations, engineering, maintenance, and work planning. We need this individual to work a 4x10 schedule (Monday -- Thursday 6am -- 5pm, with break). We also need this person to be proactive, go-getter, and can drive projects forward.

* 5+ years of Project Management experience

- Understand how to manage a project from initiation to close out

- Background in electrical experience (working with sub-contractors and circuits)

- Experience managing a project from cradle to grave (managing inspection, scoping, planning, financials, implementation and close out)

* Experience with construction, engineering, maintenance type projects

* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment (Portfolio sizes are very large)

* Understand engineering project lifecycles and milestones

* Ability to work 4x10 schedule

* Excellent oral and written communication

* Previously worked for this company or support the nuclear industry

* Has a PMP certification

* BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

* Experience with SAP work Management systems
