Job Description
An employer is looking for a Clinical Engineer III in the Los Angeles, CA area. This role is fully on-site. The Clinical Engineer III oversees medical equipment services, including device selection, maintenance, and project management. Leads engineering teams, educates medical staff, and improves technical processes. Manages equipment projects, collaborates with internal/external stakeholders, and ensures compliance. Designs and evaluates medical equipment trials. Handles incidents, recalls, and policies. Supports safety standards, conducts equipment rounds, and addresses technical challenges. Leads projects and contributes to committees.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
-6+ years of experience delivering clinical engineering services, applying recognized engineering practices and norms for assessment, inquiry, and resolution.
-Proficiency in engineering software tools and programming, with the capability to address and resolve moderately complex technical or system issues.
-Strong command of computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, and statistical applications.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Hospital-based clinical engineering background is desirable.
-Master's degree preferred
-CCE (Certified Clinical Engineer) preferred
