Job Description

A distinguished University in Los Angeles is looking for a Workday Administrator to join their ITS Workday team. The team of six is bringing someone on to supplement the technical team in addressing all business process, security administration and tenant setup configuration tasks. This role will be gathering business requirements from business units, making changes to the system, coordinating testing and approval, deploying changes in production and provide post-production support. This role is also expected to collaborate with change management team to ensure successful roll out and adoption. The day to day includes working closely with business users across HR, Finance, Budgeting teams, as well as occasionally dealing with access issues for students using Workday. They are responsible for maintaining the Workday system while addressing additional or new requirements and must be thorough in setting up new or making changes to existing business processes, security and tenant configurations. This team is highly collaborative and requires a candidate open to group decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of administration experience in Workday HCM and Financials handling troubleshooting, security, and Tier Two level configuration. (Prioritizing FIN modules)

-Business user-facing experience in a previous role.

-BA degree, ideally in a computer-science related field.

-Excellent communication, written and oral, with the ability to support Director-level business users.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Custom Reporting experience

-Professional experience within Higher Education

-Workday Pro or Workday Security Certifications such as Workday Configurable Security

-Experience with Workday development tools like Report Writer, BIRT, Core Connector, EIB, and automation testing tools
