Insight Global is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, in San Jose, CA, for a leading Semiconductor manufacturer of precision processing equipment and tooling. This candidate is responsible for supporting engineering groups - reviewing and improving existing policies, procedures, and plans. Further responsibilities include OSHA compliment implementation and creating business continuity management safety procedures.
Conduct risk assessments for various locations and develop preventative measure, countermeasures, and/or responses.
Ensure all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations, advising and leading employees on safety topics.
Prepare and present reports on accidents and/or violations and determine causes.
2-5 years' experience with safety coordination.
Experience with legislations and procedures of OSHA.
Experience working in manufacturing or field service environment/industry.
Experience with safety management information systems, conducting data analysis, and reporting statistics.
Experience with building and implementing new safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials, or practices.
Must be able to travel up to 10-20%.
Foreign Language (Japanese, Spanish, Chinese).
Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field.
Experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
OSHA Certified.
