An employer is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team to provide advanced design and engineering support for their cloud infrastructure applications. This person will be responsible for architecting, scripting (Infrastructure as Code), and deploying cloud-based solutions in AWS. They will be architecting CI/CD pipelines and deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available and fault tolerant systems on AWS. The Senior DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for configuring AWS EC2 instances in Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), S3 Buckets and Cloud Formation Services based on the requirements for different applications. This person will be leading a team of engineers and working cross functionally with the software development team to develop target state cloud architecture, as well as planning for ongoing cloud technology optimization.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting mission critical infrastructure services
- 4+ years of experience deploying/managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience building High Availability/Fault Tolerant Systems
- Expertise in creating/updating/maintaining CloudFormation templates or other IaC
- Experience using AWS Container solutions (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes)
- Experience architecting secure cloud solutions
- Experience using AWS RDS database solutions and Redshift
- Experience using AWS NoSQL solutions such as DynamoDB, MongoDB
- Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
