Job Description

As a Junior to Mid-Level Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based solutions. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for cloud technologies and a desire to further their career in cloud engineering.



Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Assist in the design and implementation of cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Configure and manage virtual machines, containers, and serverless computing resources.

Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.



Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) where applicable.



Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure as code.



Troubleshooting and Support:

Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

Collaborate with the support team to provide technical assistance and guidance.



Collaboration:

Work closely with other IT and development teams to understand their requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.

Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance the overall technology stack.

Documentation:



Create and update documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and security concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus.

Required Skills & Experience
