Job Description
A distinguished University in Los Angeles is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their Enterprise Experiences and Products team working closely as a liaison with the University Advancement team and IT PMO. The team handles strategic initiatives including building and stewarding relationships with alumni, partners and businesses, faculty, staff, and more. Some of the projects they will be supporting include supporting the project management for an IT eco-system redesign such as a new engagement vendor software, crowdfunding software, and new doner impacting reporting system, all of which will integrate into Salesforce. This project manager sits within the ITS Enterprise Applications team to help make vendor selections, manage the relationships with software vendor implementation partner, manage the RFP process and . Another aspect of this role includes creating and upholding standardized processes and supporting the change management at the University. This team is highly collaborative and requires a candidate open to group decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of project management working with crowdfunding, fundraising or finance system implementation or maintenance.
-Salesforce implementation project management experience (more of a HIGHLY preferred plus)
-Change Management experience with IT systems and across enterprise organizations.
-Agile PM experience (2 week sprints) and familiar with common project management tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, or Confluence.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Higher Education, non-profit, or government experience.
-University, business or other institution advancement or development experience.
-Experience managing the relationship between Software Vendors and Implementation Partners including the RFP stage.
-Salesforce Advancement tools such as: UC Innovations Ascend manage package for Salesforce, Affinaquest Advancement RM managed package for Salesforce, Native Salesforce option is typically NPSP or Education Cloud
